My Caller ID said this was a local caller, but the person who answered said she was with the warranty department, and that my vehicle warranty had expired. I told her I sure was glad to hear from her, because the warranty on my 1993 F350 HAD expired, could they do anything about it. After she paused for a bit, I hung up.
This number scammed me out of $200. I tried to purchase tickets to wrestlemania event, claiming they have them for sale. All I got was my $200 taken
727-283-9438 'St Petersburg FL' was caller id and left no message - typical of solicitor/marketing/etc. Might be a spoofed number.
Female voice identified only as "a process server", and did not identify who the call is intended for (note- that's because they likely don't know who they're calling!). Indicates desire to establish contact to serve a summons. This is a scam. Their purpose is to frighten the (unknown) recipient into calling back and providing information.
Missed call, no message left.
Recorded message offering: "health insurance assessment and enrollment." Clearly a telemarketing scam!!
