This is a person I do not know and knew my first name, texted "Is this (my name) its jake. I have a question." I did not respond, seems suspicious.
number listed as Joseph Sorrentino but party identified self as Monica Freeman wanted to discuss changes in laws for my federal student loans ( I have none). original phone number was 866-419-7337 asked for call back at 828-705-8488 #033307 that number also number of website for Indian goods??? call received ai 0917 PT 17 May
Received text message saying an e transfer has been sent to you from this number. No idea who this is. It has a web site address. Not opening it to find out who this is. I think this is a scammer.
Called a landline in Alberta at 9:05 am. Automated message was left stating that CRA is starting a lawsuit and told to call the # 613-686-4463
I received two calls from this number in the same day. One was a missed call and the other I answered however no one was on the other line. I waited for a response and whoever it was simply hung up on me.
These people have called before over the years (6l using different.numbers to reach you. They act like they have your info and you are in trouble . They want your information to scam you ! Beware!!!
