Didn’t recognize the number, so let it go to voicemail. Caller left voicemail in what sounds like Chinese.
Person, Alice Carter, claimed to be with the NY Consumer Protection Bureau, but I called them and they have nobody by that name working for them. She is apparently running a Good Housekeeping sweepstakes scam.
Wanting to purchase my home for cash. Continues to send me messages.
This is a scam call about student loans. The call starts with a bubbly young female voice recording about loan forgiveness at the end of the recording only giving the option to say Yes or No..... There is no chance to request to be taken off their list to stop the calls. If you call back, the number is not a working number.
I received a text from this number and it had a link I was suppose to click on. Doesn't say who it is from or why they were sending me the link.. But the link does looks suspicious.
