text message indicating I had received funds and to go to link to claim funds
I believe this is a scam origination or possibly fake number. Some person, by text, wanted to buy my vehicle sight unseen if I would provide a PayPal account number for them to send me the money. A supposed freight company would then pick up the vehicle. Never asked anything about the vehicle. Poor English stated "I will like to buy". Bullshit!
This person called my phone 4 times over two days before I answered. Male caller. Asked for me by name. When I asked how can I help you, he stated "You can't" and hung up the phone!
Called early morning. Didn't recognize number.
