An automated call claiming to be IRS and threatening arrest and legal action for tax fraud. Requested that I call the number back to initiate preventative action. The scam is alive and well. Don't fall for it and don't call the number back. The IRS communicates via written correspondence, on official letterhead. Retired Law Enforcement Officer
Getting this number in my E-MAIL!
Asked for my husband by first name only. When I responded with “May I ask who’s calling?”, he said “Nope.” and hung up.
constantly calling and asking me to call him back and no idea why.
Made the mistake of checking to see if I could refinance my condo. Rates weren't better so I didn't. Started getting calls from this number immediately after getting off the website. I suspect they are connected but I don't answer calls I don't recognize so I can't say for certain.
Claim to have connected to my social security number to criminal activity.
