Called both my personal and work mobile numbers within a minute of each other, did not leave a voicemail. Area code and prefix are the same as my number, so it's likely a spoofed number.
"Heather from Account Services about credit card rates"
Received a message from a fake number to call 231-287-5781, identifying himself as Charlie Peterson of Vtech. Message also said I would be charged $299 unless I called to cancel this action within 48 hours. I called Vtech and as I suspected, they did not call.
SAID IT WAS SOCIAL SECURITY! THEY DO MOT CALL PEOPLE...
