Got a text message saying " Someone you know is being set up.
calls every 5-10 minutes and is a blank line if i pick up or leaves no message on recorder
I don't know who's the owner of this number. But he introduced himself trying to scam money.I have contacted this number and i have spoken to the guy. But still im confused.
Message they leave is: arrest warrant against your name and identity is being made. Before warrant gets submitted to your state authorities please contact us..." I don't break the law. Live in NY, call shows Vancouver Washington. It's just another variation of the IRS scam that's going around.
Call came as 1-970-481 -1557 I thought I may have seen it come in before . Is it a scam? No message has been left for return.
