When the answering machine picked up, there was dead silence. This is the tactic of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who continuously troll the phone lines, desperately seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
Caller wants me to verify my SS#, which I don't and states there is a claim against me but refuses to say from who unless I verify last 4 digits of SS#. Gotten these calls from various phone numbers over past years. Nothing ever comes of it. Very annoying.
Called, wouldnt Answer me Hung up Harrasment call
Said it was IRS and this was the final notice before filing a lawsuit against us.
A caller used my surname name. When I asked who is this? I was disconnected. When I called back, there was no answer!
