This was a call from India, that had the name of Methodist Hospital, which is a valid place. But this guy was asking in a very heavy accent if I was having back pains. This was not Methodist Hospital. Scam.
Automated message says they need to speak to you, but no name is given. It says if you hang up you waive your right to a lawyer and they will turn it over to the state authorities but doesn’t say which. Then says press 1 to speak to someone. It hangs up if you don’t after 5 seconds. Call back and someone sends you to their cell phone vm.
Had 4 calls from this number within 1 hour. Scam call -- blocked and reported.
Left text saying interested in RE for sale. Did not answer when I called back.
Calls and texts at odd hours 5am To minors. Using vulgar language. Then alleges to call cops if you call number back. A pervert probably.
The voice message said there are “serious allegations” against me and the “local cops” will arrest me if I don’t call them back. Umm, ok.
