"Left message about four negative things tied to my name by the local police. To avoid further legal action I should return their call at this number 2019-01-25 20:18:49" I got the exact same thing. I don't even get parking tickets so I knew it was some BS con job. If I get called again, I'll call the Austin DA's office.
Scammer calling from "the office" wanting to help me with password change. Definitely shady.
Woman called stating her name as Lisa Brown and reports that I need to have my attorney call her regarding tax fraud complaint against me and states that if I don't they will take legal action against me.
IRS scam
Was pretending to be the IRS, and if I didn’t settle up immediately they would have the local “cops” arrest me. 1st. IRS doesn’t call you it’s all done by registered letter. 2nd they would of never said cops 3rd it was a recorded call
The recording says that there is suspicious activity linked to your social security number. That if you don't call your asset's will be frozen. They give a phone number but all I cought was the (785) area code.
