More of the same with the 848-240-3977. Scammers spoofing numbers to appear to be local. I don't bother answering any 848-240- numbers anymore. I block them immediately. Never any voicemail left. If you *67 these Aholes it says it's not a functional number...
The call was an automated call, claiming that there has been fraud of some kind related to my social security number, that there was an agent waiting for my call back, and that I should call to avert legal proceedings.
Did not answer, as I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. They did not leave a message.
