Called number right back, said it was disconnected
I’m a Realtor. Get text from this guy saying his name is Stephen Barnett, when you research the number it says it belongs to Jimmy Dwyer.
Caller was an automated message. Did not specify name of person they were contacting but stated that there were 4 serious allegations pressed on my name and wanted me to call back this number to discuss about this case before taking any legal action. 607-421-5572. I don't live in NY, where the number is from. I believe this is a scam.
The caller id was truly from Montgomery Bank. The caller said her name was Jenny from Montgomery Bank and left 314-579-4606 as the number to call back. She did not use my name at all. Scary and sounded legit.
No voice message was left. When I called the number, the recording says the number is not in service. That recording does NOT sound like a phone service recording.
The person, David Lindsey accidentally used this number instead of his usual number to contact me. He is scamming people with timeshare resell.
