automated call saying from Social Security that your SS number has been compromised and cancelled. Hung up at that point.
The part of the recorded call I remember is the phrase, "possibility of criminal prosecution." Previous scam calls included similar threats so I hang up on hearing it.

Asked for me by name at my office and then hung up. I assume this is a scam where you are supposed to call back. That is clearly the case since this website confirms that other people had the same experience.
