Caller had my name and said they wanted to by my house
Sent text claimed on behalf of my friend with link to Instagram account as mine full of pics of me and connected to my facebook friends. I never had an Instagram account, my friend never asked anyone to send me that. Neither of us know this number it came from

Sounded like a scammer, threatened legal action.
My comment is the same as the others. The message also said to call them before the IRS issues a non-bailable arrest & lawsuit, I have to call them at 616-384-4691. First of all, I know from experience that the IRS notifies you by mail if you owe them additional taxes, etc. So this is a total scam that needs to be investigated.
Texts saying they are "Costco and we are offering [monetary gifts] for completing just 6 questions customer survey. Way better deal than amazon freebie" and then leave a link. Texting at all hours of the day and night.
