Came through on my phone as +81 739 18 996 and said Japan, except Japanese numbers have one more digit. So, I suspect this is a new tactic to trick phones into showing another country and making you pickup. I did not answer.
Left no message, didn't answer upon callback and no voicemail.
Threatening message left. Sounds like a scam.
Called number back & the guy was claiming he’s from internal affairs # (646) 394-9343
