Person, Alice Carter, claimed to be with the NY Consumer Protection Bureau, but I called them and they have nobody by that name working for them. She is apparently running a Good Housekeeping sweepstakes scam.

at my return call a recording stated that this is a disconnected number.
Left a message said I could get arrested and to call back. When I called the man with a thick accent wanted my info Says my SS# was compromised. When I asked him who I was since he called me he couldn't say. I asked him to speak with my attorney if there is a problem, and he hung up.
They just keep calling and hanging up--leaving no message.
