It was a recording from a Card Member Services company giving you one last chance to reduce credit card debt! I'm on the DNC list, and they still called, at dinner time too. Isn't this an FTC violation?
Ive called them back several times and they are obviously not U.S. Government employees - their phone demeanor is sub-standard and 2 out of 3 times I was dis-connected when they went to "retrieve my file". Can't they at least be fined for outright using the I.R.S. name ???

calls every day
They keep calling, saying that I have a disability that keeps me from working full-time. I ask who they are and who gave them that bogus information. They say someone in the household. I said that didn't answer my question. Who gave them that bogus information. They say to please hold and hang up.
